Our family was expanding and we needed more space for the kids and to be able to work from home more comfortably. We loved our neighborhood but had trouble finding a larger house in the neighborhood that fit our needs. We found Anchor Builders and really liked that they had done similar renovations/expansions in the neighborhood. It was very important to us that we preserved the character of the 1946 vintage house and could make sure that the second floor addition was cohesive with the existing first floor of the house. We also really wanted the exterior of the house to blend into the neighborhood which consists of houses primarily built in the 1940s. We are so happy to be back in our house and love that the charm of the house remains in tact. We are also really enjoying the additional space and modern amenities in the house.
