This client’s kitchen was tight, closed off, and not functional for a family of 5. It was a priority to create a more open flow from the kitchen to dining/living space so that the parents could see their children at the table and interact easier with guests when entertaining. The client’s main entry into the home was also through the kitchen so creating a small mudroom within the kitchen was also a priority.
